Macrame Wall Hanging
Learn various macrame techniques to create a functional and very beautiful craft. Using various knots and twists, students will turn a wooden board into a decorative hanging shelf. We'll provide sturdy macrame rope in a wide array of colors.
Select a unique piece of reclaimed wood from the Mutual Adoration wood shop to complete your project. The boards have been sanded, stained, and finished specifically for the macrame hangers. Decorative and utilitarian!
Everyone will take home a handcrafted wood + macrame shelf, ready to hang!

Memory Matter - Black Bottom Legacy Festival Sunday,
Join Detroit artist and educator Trice Clark for Memory Matter, a hands-on polymer clay drop in workshop exploring how everyday objects can hold extraordinary stories. Participants are invited to bring a small trinket, heirloom, or meaningful object to press into clay, creating a textured keepsake inspired by personal and family history. Through imprinting, carving, inscription, and surface design, we’ll transform intangible memories into tangible artifacts that can be carried forward and shared for generations.
