This entry-level workshop is designed for beginners and curious makers interested in learning the foundations of polymer clay bead making. No prior experience is required—just a willingness to experiment and play with pattern, color, and form.
Participants will learn the fundamentals of working with polymer clay to create one-of-a-kind patterned beads. Trice will guide students through conditioning and prepping clay, building simple and intermediate canes, slicing and shaping beads, proper baking techniques, and finishing. Students will explore how patterns translate through clay canes and how those patterns can be customized for jewelry applications such as earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and more.
This workshop builds foundational knowledge that students can continue to expand on in future polymer clay projects.
Students will take home a collection of handmade, one-of-a-kind polymer clay beads created during the workshop, ready to be used in projects on the spot or future jewelry and accessory projects.
